The deadline to apply for the 2008 entrance examination for the position of Trooper was December 1, 2007 with actual testing occurring in January and February of 2008. At this time we do not anticipate conducting another exam in the near future.

We do however offer a variety of non-sworn employment opportunities with continuous postings on this site. Please click here for a listing of current civilian opportunities.

Military personnel who signed up to take the 2008 entrance examination but were unable to do so due to active federal military service should click here for more information. The first supplemental exam for these individuals will take place on October 4, 2008 and a second exam has recently been scheduled for March 21, 2009 if you are unable to be at the first. Additional dates will be announced as they become available.

Individuals taking the first supplemental exam are invited and eligible to attend an Exam Preparation Session being conducted at the Troop G Headquarters building on September 20, 2008 at 9:00 AM. Any individual interested in attending this can contact me for further details and for reservation of a seat. Seats are limited, so a reservation is needed for admittance. Be advised that an exam Preparation Session will be held for each supplemental exam.

If you are taking the military supplemental exam and cannot be here for the Exam Preparation Session, you may request study material by email to assist you in your exam preparation.
